The UK ministry of foreign affairs has given the guidelines on its official website. The quarantine will be institutional, and the travelers must pay 1750GBP to spend 10 days in government-authorized hotels. The cost includes the hotel stay, transport, and testing.

In Scotland, there are slight changes in the guidelines that are the rule to stay in a hotel is applicable to the travelers arriving directly by air from all countries outside the common travel area. (i.e., UK, Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands) other than just those from the list of 33 countries. One of the travelers who was quarantined at an authorized hotel near the Heathrow international airport said “he was feeling sad” at the anticipation of isolating for 10 days. And one of the frequent business travelers who just came back from UAE opinioned that 1750GBP cost for the stay is “too high and a huge desperation for 10 days” he also opinioned about his facilities are just “not bad” and he had been told the food will be left. Also, a lady from north London stated that she has been facing some sort of depression for spending her birthday in isolation after flying in from Dubai via Frankfurt. She opened her mind and shared her feelings she said, “I feel horrible because I live here, I have my own individual home, and also I have some medical issues which I was hoping they would consider.”

The UK govt has guarded the arrangements after a frequent rise in questions about the ability of passengers from “red list” countries to mingle with other travelers on flights and at airports before being moved to their accommodation. The people traveling from red list countries to Wales and Northern Ireland are requested to book and pay for quarantine in England since none of the destinations have any international direct flights. And for booking any person who requires to take quarantine in England is advised to reserve a room online in advance using the allotted govt portal. The additional costs for one extra adult are 650GBP whereas for a child aged up to 12 is 325GBP. The Govt is very strict has applied a huge fine of 5000GBP to 10000GBP for the violators on their passenger locator and one included in the red list will have an additional 10-year prison sentence.

Last but not least the ministry of foreign affairs also updated the testing guidelines for the travelers coming to the country that the travelers arriving in England will need to take two tests during the quarantine process. In which one is on the second day of arrival and the second is on the eighth day of their 10-day quarantine period this should be done irrespective of the hotel or home quarantine period.
